From November 23 to 26, 2026, the Karachi Expo Centre will host FoodAg Pakistan 2026, a major international platform dedicated to agriculture and the agri-food sector. The event aims to bring together producers, exporters, international buyers and investors to explore new business opportunities and strengthen trade partnerships.Pakistan is preparing to host a new edition of its international food and agriculture exhibition. FoodAg Pakistan 2026 will take place from November 23 to 26 at the Karachi Expo Centre. Organized by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), the fourth edition is expected to bring together Pakistani companies and international buyers from a wide range of markets.
Held under the theme “Harvesting Innovation, Cultivating Sustainability,” the event will focus on innovation, sustainability and the development of agricultural value chains. Organizers expect more than 500 exhibitors and hundreds of international buyers from several dozen countries.
The four-day event will go beyond product exhibitions. B2B meetings, conferences, seminars and business networking sessions are planned to facilitate commercial partnerships and help participating companies access new markets.
Several sectors will be represented, including cereals, rice, fruits and vegetables, dairy products, meat and poultry, seafood, dried fruits, honey, spices, edible oils and oilseeds, processed foods and beverages. Agritech and agricultural processing solutions will also feature prominently.
Côte d’Ivoire among potential partners
For Côte d’Ivoire, FoodAg Pakistan represents another opportunity to expand trade relations with Pakistan. Ivorian business operators have already participated in previous editions of the event. In 2024, a delegation of 17 Ivorian business representatives attended the International Food and Agriculture Expo in Karachi. Another Ivorian delegation participated in the 2025 edition.
The participation comes as bilateral trade between Côte d’Ivoire and Pakistan continues to show room for further growth. In 2025, trade between the two countries reached approximately $169.29 million. Pakistani exports to Côte d’Ivoire stood at $105 million, while Ivorian exports to Pakistan amounted to $64.29 million.
Rice remains one of Pakistan’s major exports to the Ivorian market. Côte d’Ivoire, for its part, exports products including rubber, cotton and refined lead to Pakistan.
Against this backdrop, FoodAg Pakistan 2026 could provide Ivorian companies with an opportunity to explore new partnerships in agriculture, food processing and international trade. The B2B sessions are expected to facilitate contacts between potential suppliers, buyers and investors.
For Pakistan, the event is also an opportunity to expand the international reach of its agricultural and food products and attract foreign buyers. For African participants, including Côte d’Ivoire, the exhibition provides a platform to diversify trade partners and identify opportunities in a strategically important sector.
From November 23 to 26, Karachi will therefore become a meeting point for stakeholders across the global agri-food value chain. For Côte d’Ivoire and Pakistan, FoodAg 2026 could further strengthen economic ties and create new avenues for trade and investment.
